Is Street Wear Becoming Everyday Wear?

Street wear has grown in popularity among the younger age groups in the past decade. The more you look around the more you begin to see that street wear is becoming a universally worn style. You can walk on a college campus or on the streets of New York and you will be sure to see someone wearing a pair of jogger pants and a hoodie with a fresh pair of Nikes to match. With the streetstyle becoming so popular one must wonder “When is it appropriate to wear this kind of clothing and why?” The answer is actually more interesting than you would think.

It’s a common misconception that anything associated with the streets must be dirty and inappropriate. You will find the opposite when looking into street wear. Street wear is appropriate numerous types of occasions from hanging out at a club wit your friends to dinner on the weekend with your parents. You must be wondering how can one style of clothing be so versatile. The answer to that can be found in how diverse street wear brands are now a days. Wearing a khaki colored pair of joggers with a nice over coat allows you to put on the charm and sophistication of formal wear while simultaneously maintaining the comfort and style allowed by street wear. Many people hear the term jogger pants and assume sweatpants. This sentiment could not be further from the truth. Take a look at a pair of our black ground zero jogger pants, one of our most popular pants. When paired with a simple pullover jacket or even a blazer you could step into any setting whether it be formal or casual.

Next time you head out the door wearing an outfit you like, try and change things up and throw a little street style in the mix. You’ll be sure to turn heads and feel comfortable in your clothes.  Your wardrobe should be as dynamic as your personality and there is no reason to keep wearing the same old wardrobe day after day. Remember life is a bit more fun when you #ResistTheUsual.
